TechSeed Inspire les Futures Innovateurs, held on October 3 and 4, 2024, was a two-day TechSeed event for 120 children aged 9 to 14 from the Village SOS de Sanankoroba. of the Village SOS de Sanankoroba, organized under the aegis of the Ministère de la Promotion de la Femme, de l'Enfant et de la Famille as part of the International Day of the Girl Child. This initiative aims to empower young girls through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

Survey

  • 100% had never heard of STEM
  • 100% had never heard of STEM. 50% knew about robots.
  • 0% were not familiar with 3D printing or AI.

Results and Impact

  • 120 children aged 9 to 14 trained
  • 100% want more training like this
  • 99% will go into science in high school
  • 90% want a career in science
